About
Hailing from the deep South, Black Stone Cherry has been showcasing their southern rock, heavy metal fusion since 2001. They have just released their eighth studio album ‘Screamin’ at the Sky’.
Black Stone Cherry released their self-titled, debut album in 2006. Featuring tracks such as Rain Wizard, Lonely Train, and Hell And High Water. Their debut album solidified themselves in the rock scene. The band took to the road in 2006 and gained dedicated fans all over the world.
The ever-versatile Black Stone Cherry stay true to their roots and incorporates elements of soul, funk, and blues into their music. A theme that can be seen across this band's career is their shared core value that they are friends before they are a band. Their 2018 album ‘Family Tree’ really showed this ethos to the world. The album features Robertson’s five-year-old son on ‘You Got the Blues.’
Their eighth studio album ‘Screamin’ at the Sky’ is set to be released on September 29th. Speaking about the new album the band stated ‘We had a lot to say lyrically, musically, and sonically. We pushed ourselves to create not only something relevant, but also pushing the envelope to bend the trend.’
