The Trosmø native released her first single “Backbeat” in 2016 which was immediately picked up by Zane Lowe for Apple Beats 1 and the acoustic version was featured in “Grey’s Anatomy.”

Dagny’s flair for incorporating accessible lyrics with upbeat, catchy melodies has grabbed the attention of many. While being a successful solo artist, Dagny has co-written Katy Perry’s “Never Really Over”, and written for artists such as Ashnikko, Julie Bergan, and many more.

Dagny is a truly versatile artist and has collaborated with musicians across a wide variety of genres. Collaborating with EDM heavyweights such as Steve Aoki, Kygo, and Seeb, Dagny lent her powerful vocals to songs such as “Lonely Together” with Kygo which has over 6 million streams to date. Dagny also worked with the Wombats on the song “Turn” which has racked up over 104 million Spotify streams.

2022 was a busy year for Dagny with the release of her song “Brightsider.” Inspired by those who have an innate capacity to always look on the bright side of life, even in the most demanding of situations. She also performed at many festivals such as The Great Escape and British Summer Time at Hyde Park.
