About

Please note: In light of advice from the Government, we have made the difficult decision to postpone putting tickets on sale for this year’s Summer Series.

We’ve announced a brilliant line-up of acts, and we very much hope that we can bring them to our audiences this summer. We have to respond to current circumstances and believe it’s better to delay putting tickets on sale at this point. We hope to be on sale at the earliest opportunity.

Marking 20 years of outstanding open-air live music at Somerset House, Somerset House Summer Series with American Express returns for eleven nights of exceptional gigs this July.

An unmissable summer experience, the series brings a vibrant festival atmosphere right to the heart of London, offering music fans the rare opportunity to enjoy world-renowned and upcoming acts, across a wide range of genres in a spectacular, intimate setting.

This year's Somerset House Summer Series launches with New Zealand-born Australian-bred and London-based multi-instrumentalist Jordan Rakei on Thursday 9 July 2020.

New Zealand reggae-rock group Six60 perform on Friday 10 July, followed by Grammy award-winning duo Rodrigo y Gabriela on Saturday 11 July and Irish singer-songwriter James Vincent McMorrow closing the first weekend on Sunday 12 July 2020.

Colombian duo Bomba Estéreo performs on Monday 13 July, bringing their tropical-electro carnival to the capital, while Somerset House will mark it's 200th open-air gig with London's Blood Orange (Dev Hynes) on Tuesday 14 July.

Brit award 2020 nominee Mahalia will take to the stage on Wednesday 15 July while French singer-songwriter WoodKid (Yoann Lemoine) joins the line-up on Thursday. Friday will see Tove Lo headline before the weekend invites LA rock quintet Young The Giant.

Closing night will see grime icons Eskimo Dance bring together MC's, DJ's and performers on the Somerset House stage on Sunday 19 July 2020.
